A shocked couple has captured the spectacular second a kookaburra managed to wolf down a useless rat whereas sitting on the house owner’s balcony.

George Trojanowski filmed the chicken, nicknamed Scruff, because it devoured the nauseating meal at their rural Kiels Mountain dwelling within the Sunshine Coast area of Queensland.

The video confirmed the hungry kookaburra perched on the balcony rail holding the useless rat’s head in its mouth.

‘Hiya scruff, my goodness,’ Mr Trojanowski exclaimed because the chicken sat there together with his feast.

Scruff started to chomp away on the lifeless rat because it saved repositioning its beak and fluttering its wings to try to swallow its meals.

Mr Trojanowski gasped as he watched the hungry chicken handle to suit the rat’s physique inside its mouth.

The glad kookaburra appeared unphased because it stared on the couple and confirmed off its catch whereas the rat’s legs poked out of its mouth.

‘Unbelievable,’ Mr Trojanowski stated in full shock at what he was witnessing.

Whereas Mr Trojanowski’s associate advised the feasting animal: ‘Scruff, no meals for you for per week’. 

Scruff continued to chunk away on the useless rat lifting its beak to chomp and gulp down the remainder of the rat’s physique, leaving solely its tail to stay out of his mouth.

Talking on the spectacular second he captured, Mr Trojanowski stated: ‘We dwell on a small rural mountain high property and have inspired many wild birds to undertake our dwelling as a sanctuary and occasional supplementary feeding alternative.’

Mr Trojanowski stated Scruff is one among 5 kookaburras that frequently visits their property and is ‘undoubtedly the character of the bunch’ as this isn’t the primary time the cheeky chicken has introduced a meal to point out the pair.

‘He’s introduced different “kills” for us to admire however this rat was undoubtedly the pièce de résistance.’

Many viewers have been shocked by the kookaburra’s potential to swallow the useless rat.
