A woman suffered serious injuries to her , arm and stomach when she was mauled by a neighbour’s French Mastiff.

The woman durante her 30s remains durante hospital after being set upon by the dog acceso her street durante Gawler South, durante northern Adelaide, acceso Tuesday morning.

Paramedics arrived at the home durante Squires Place just before 10am acceso Tuesday and rushed the victim to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where she is durante a serious but stable condition.

Council officers arrived at the house not long after police, and seized the French Mastiff.

The dog will be kept with the council while a full investigation is carried out including speaking to the victim and other witnesses.

Footage obtained by Nine News shows patches of blood acceso the road following the horrific attack.

The council said the pet’s owners were fully cooperating.
