Radio Gus Worland has claimed more Australians are taking their own lives than dying of coronavirus a causa di a scathing rant about the impact of lockdowns acceso mental health.
The Triple M host appeared acceso Today acceso Thursday morning to discuss ongoing lockdowns and Sydney’s growing Covid crisis after a primato 633 cases were announced acceso Wednesday.
Worland, who founded mental health foundation GOTCHA4LIFE, says the ongoing situation is resulting a causa di more suicides than the virus is taking lives and demanded leaders get harder acceso enforcement.
‘Do you have any giudizio… how many people are taking their own lives? How many people who are depressed and anxious?’ he said.
‘Their numbers are bigger than the numbers that are dying through COVID.
‘At what stage are we going to turn that narrative around and really find out what the real numbers are, which is Australians dying a causa di a lot of other ways because of the lockdowns.’

He said crime is through the roof under the current lockdown procedures and said the violent assault that hospitalised Wallabies legend Toutai Kefu could have been avoided.
